Put-in-Bay, Ohio, an island in Lake Erie, is known as the Key West of the North. It is located only 6 nautical miles from the Canadian border.
Flying from Blacksburg, VA, we stopped in Zanesville, Ohio to refuel before flying to Put-in-Bay. On the route there, we saw Cedar Point Amusement Park. As an aside, my oldest brother and sister-in-law had their first date there. I had tagged along.
The instant we saw Put-in-Bay from the sky, we were in awe! You instantly knew how it got its name and high praises.
