“Sometimes, flying feels too godlike to be attained by man.  Sometimes, the world from above seems too beautiful, too wonderful, too distant for human eyes to see.”  Charles A. Lindbergh

As we get in the plane and become airborne,  I am in that moment of enjoying the sky – the most pure beauty I could possibly imagine.  Time stops existing.  It takes my breath away.   My eyes well up because I cannot think of anything more perfect.  Learning to fly was the greatest gift I could have ever given myself.  Sometimes in life what you were most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free.  It gives me shivers to think I could have missed my very best life.  Please take a chance at life.  “Just because the past didn’t turn out like you wanted it to, doesn’t mean your future can’t be better than you ever imagined.”

My plane’s name is Flipper.  It loves to take us to the ocean.  And who am I to oppose?  Okay, maybe we helped with that decision.  After all, it’s usually less than two hours away to paradise.  Being in the air allows us to let go of all the bad in the world and see it for the beauty it holds. And being at the beach gives us serenity.

Life is too short not to cherish it.  “You can choose to be happy” as eloquently told to me by a very happy, positive person.
