“Life is a magical journey, so travel endlessly to unfold its profound and heart touching beauty.”  – unknown

When I got my own plane, I had no idea how differently it would fly from the Mighty Cessna.  Flipper, my plane, handles so differently.  As I’ve told people, you feel the plane, it’s heavier.  (I.e., I miss the Mighty Cessna – except when we’re traveling long distances.  My plane flies faster.)

SO, this weekend Roger was teaching me stalls, slow flights, different landings, and recovers in my plane.  This is the first weekend that I actually connected to my plane.  Yay!

We also flew to Hillsville, then to the New River Valley, then back to the Virginia Tech airport, where I have it tied down.

Hillsville, Virginia. Twin County Airport. What a picturesque view.

Just a couple of flying souls.  Flying fast.  Living slow.
