Ingalls Field Airport is located in Hot Springs, Virginia.  It is so incredibly beautiful there, it takes your breath away.  I cannot imagine a prettier, more tranquil place to be.  I couldn’t believe we were about to land on a mountain top.  Oh wait, that’s me landing on the top of that mountain.  Is that my heart beating I’m hearing?

After we land, we go into the airport.  The airport manager there rolls out the welcome mat.  There are drinks in the refrigerator, ice cream in the freezer, a guitar to play in the lobby,  place to have picnics,  and a place to camp if someone likes (great for stargazing).  He really knows how to make people feel welcomed!!  We vote him airport manager of the year!

Turning my back on low wing planes. You just miss all the beauty.
