“I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road.” by Stephen Hawkings

I just love flying the Cessna 152.  It is such an amazing airplane.  I felt grateful and enormously blessed that I was in the Cessna 152 this morning and had Roger there to show me some new tricks of the trade and to take these extraordinarily beautiful photos.  We did some takeoffs and landings in some unusual air (for me, at least).  Photos tell the story.

“The use of the term art medium is, to say the least, misleading, for it is the artist that creates a work of art not the medium. It is the artist in photography that gives form to content by a distillation of ideas, thought, experience, insight and understanding.” -Edward Steichen

Taking off on Runway 30 at Virginia Tech airport

Sky is proving to be unusually pretty this morning.

Look at what someone put on the field at Lane Stadium at Virginia Tech

I just love the pattern. Look closer: they’re houses with snow still on the roofs.

Love those mountains!

Snow heading right for us. We landed before it got to us!

And from the other side of the sky at about this time:

The mighty Cessna:

She is a true beauty!
