“Veni, Vidi, Amavi”

(We came, We saw, We loved)

This morning was cloudy, windy, and cold with a few whispy snowflakes.  AND, I got to fly!  Yay!  I was practicing take offs and landings in the wind.  I got a K.C. and Sunshine Band, ” Oh, that’s the way, uh-huh uh-huh I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh” from Roger – which means I was doing a great job.    As we were doing those, the first photo below is what we saw.  Looking at the horizon, you could see a sliver of pink in the sky.  But then sadly the clouds started taking that away.

As I continued to do take offs and landings, we saw that the clouds were thin and there was an opening.  So, we went up and through them.  I  am so enormously happy that Roger had us do that.  In the photos below, look at the sky from above the clouds.  It was like taking a trip to heaven with  an angel in my heart.

Have you ever felt infinite?  This morning for me was like that: being above the clouds feeling complete and happy and nothing could bother or hurt me.  Feeling infinite can’t be undone or truly ever go away.

As I was looking at Roger’s photos from this morning, I thought of Michelangelo’s words, “Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.”

And then we rose above the clouds:
