I was supposed to fly tomorrow morning, January 30, 2018. But the winds are supposed to be treacherous. So, I was very happy to hear that someone cancelled their flight lesson this afternoon. I took advantage of that cancellation; I got to go for a flying lesson at 5:00 PM.
This evening I’m practicing takeoffs and landings. Roger always attempts to teach me new things but sometimes I have to be in the right place to hear everything. SO, tonight he had to help me break a bad habit I developed: not holding back on the yoke as I’m landing. I would pull it back, then not follow through. Ahhhhh! It is so much nicer landing when you do it!
