Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.

I am so very happy that I have an instructor who feels the rain. Monday morning here was cloudy and a bit dreary. So, we did the most cheerful thing we could do under the circumstances: GO FLYING!
On the way to Roanoke, we could see the clouds coming closer. As we descended into Roanoke, we could see more clouds there. SO, Roger told me that we could do just a few touch and go’s before heading back to Blacksburg. But, oh my goodness, I am so glad that we did it because I learned so much from him this morning. He was constantly talking me through situations this morning. He was awesome! And, it was so much fun!!! (Okay, there was a short landing in there that he did which definitely made my day.) Plus, I was very proud of myself for the last landing in Roanoke crabbing in. I learn from the best!
Shortly after we got back, the rains came. But, my Monday is beautiful.
Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s learning to dance in the rain/wind/clouds.
