“How does one become a butterfly?” she asked.
“You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.”
It was a ridiculously amazing morning! It was mostly clear flying from Blacksburg to Roanoke Airport.
When we got there, I got to do takeoffs and landings on all four runways: figure eights. The air traffic controller at the Roanoke Airport this morning was GREAT! As an aside, I find it a bit amusing how you get glimpses of people’s personalities in such short sound bites.
Thanks very much to Roger for all the amazing things he showed me this morning. Some of the mistakes I made will be my most learning moments.
I don’t feel much like sharing today. “Some people think I’m unhappy, but I’m not. I just appreciate silence in a world that never stops talking.”
There is such innocent beauty in the sky. I can never get enough of it. Life is too short, too precious, and too painful not to take time to enjoy it.
